Markus Mischek is a Munich based photographer. After working as an art director for several agencies he decided to turn his passion for photography into profession starting his first own studio in 2007. His main focus is on taking creative and expressive photos of people for advertising and fashion. Markus prefers dramatic yet simple lighting. Wether artificial or natural light. For Markus Mischek the authenticity and emotion of a photo is always more important than technical perfection. This can even result in taking a photo in a snapshot style. Thanks to his good sense of humor and perfect organization Markus creates a pleasant atmosphere on set without any stress. In his free time Markus frequently visits the boxing gym, plays chess and table tennis. He studied communication design in Dortmund and graduated as Diplom Designer.
